Description
Summary:It is shown that the current pace of anthropogenic impact, climate change and invasion of aggressive allochthonous species of aquatic organisms cause the transition of the functioning of the Black Sea ecosystem from resistance mode to the compensatory homeostasis. Biogeochemical mechanisms for the implementation of the compensatory homeostasis in relation to nuclear, chemical and allochthonous organic water pollution have been studied. It is found that under the influence of natural and climatic factors within certain limits the restructuring and function of the Black Sea ecosystem aim to increase the intensity of the biogeochemical cycles of self-purification of water in accordance with Le Chatelier's principle. Two stages of elastic homeostasis were substantiated and conceptual forecasts of ecological capacity of the marine environment were made based on models of biogeochemical response of Black Sea ecosystem.
