| description | The population dynamics, biomass and distribution off the coast of the Crimea polychaetes Saccocirrus papillocercus Bobretzky, 1872 were studied. Number S. papillocercus depends on the granulometric composition of soil, preferred shallow gravel and coarse sand. The minimum abundance (2 ind .m-2) and biomass (0.0012 g. m-2) were observed in the waters of Cape Opuk, the maximum (3525 ind.m-2, and 8.2709 g.m-2, respectively) - in the area Okunevka. In the laboratory, larval development of S. papillocercus lasted 8 – 9 days. The larvae settled and attached to the substrate having a body length of 104 – 128 mm. |

Отримано дані щодо динаміці чисельності, біомаси та розподілу біля берегів Криму багатощетинкових червів Saccocirrus papillocercus Bobretzky, 1872. Встановлено, що чисельність саккоциррусів залежить від гранулометричного складу грунта, перевага віддається дрібному гравію і крупному піску. Мінімальні значення чисельності (2 екз.. м-2) і біомаси (0.0012 г.м-2) відзначені в акваторії м. Опук, максимальні (3525 екз. .м-2 і 8.2709 г. м-2 відповідно) – в районі с. Окуневки. В лабораторних умовах личинковий розвиток S. papillocercus тривав 8 – 9 діб. При довжині тіла 104 – 128 мкм личинки осідали і прикріплялися до субстрату.
