| Summary: | Bases of energy budget approach are briefly considered. Possibilities and limitations of approach are analyzed. Taking into account a specific dynamic action of food we calculated the maximally possible values of coefficients of the use of energy on growth - K1 and K2. The use of these coefficients allows only to set scopes possible, but does not allow to do a prognosis, that will be realized within the limits of possible. A conclusion is done, that, in spite of limitations of applicability of method, it remains one of effective instruments of modern hydrobiology. |
