А. китоподібні, азовка, білобочка, афаліна, харчування, Чорне море cetaceans, harbour porpoise, common dolphin, bottlenose dolphin, feeding ecology, Black Sea Stomach content has been studied in 157 stranded and by-caught Black Sea cetaceans including 123 harbour porpoises (Phocoena phocoena relicta), 26 common dolphins (Delphinus delphis ponticus) and 8 bottlenose dolphins (Tursiops truncatus ponticus) collected in Ukraine, Bulgaria, Georgia and Russia. Some new prey species were recorded including the haarder (Liza haematocheila) and pickarel (Spicara flexuosa) for harbour porpoises, and the garfish (Belone belone euxini) for common and bottlenose dolphins. Currently, basic food species of harbour porpoises in Ukrainian waters are represented by the sprat (Sprattus sprattus phalericus), whiting (Merlangius merlangus euxinus) and anchovy (Engraulis encrasicolus). The updated list of Black Sea cetaceans prey includes at least 30 fish species from 21 families; a total of 20 fish species are known to be consumed by harbour porpoises, 11 – by common dolphins and 14 – by bottlenose dolphins. Досліджено вміст шлунків 157 викинутих на узбережжя та приловлених у рибальські сітки чорноморських китоподібних: 123 азовок (Phocoena phocoena relicta), 26 білобочок (Delphinus delphis ponticus) і 8 афалін (Tursiops truncatus ponticus) з вод України, Болгарії, Грузії і Росії. Зареєстровані нові об'єкти харчування для азовки – піленгас (Liza haematocheila) і спікара (Spicara flexuosa), а також один вид для білобочки і афаліни – сарган (Belone belone euxini). Показано, що в сучасних умовах основними харчовими об'єктами для морських свиней у водах України є шпрот (Sprattus sprattus phalericus), мерланг (Merlangius merlangus euxinus) і хамса (Engraulis encrasicolus). Загальний список риб, що входять у раціон чорноморських дельфінів, в даний час включає, щонайменше, 30 видів з 21 сімейства; з них не менше 20 видів є об'єктами харчування азовки, 11 – білобочки і 14 – афаліни.
