Highest species diversity and abundance were in floating green algae Cladophora mat (to 150 ∙ 103 per l). Positive correlations of Infusoria abundance with salinity and temperature were found. Cell size of abundant species Fabrea salina negatively correlates with population abundance. Different aspects of infusoria development in hypersaline water bodies was discussed comparatively. |
