Проаналізовано концентрацію вітаміну Е в м’яких тканинах мідії Mytilus galloprovincialis, зваженої речовині та біовідкладеннях. Показано, що вміст α-токоферолу максимальний у гепатопанкреасі молюсків, а в гонадах цей показник залежить від ступіні зрілості та зростає від стадії початку гаметогенезу до стадії нересту. За добу мідії споживають 18 % вітаміну Е від абсолютного вмісту його в тканинах, а виділяють тільки 6 – 10 % від споживаного. Мідійна ферма здатна “вилучати” із середовища до 387 г α-токоферолу.
