Розглядається модель переносу пасивної домішки, яка заснована на TVD-схемах. Ідентифікація початкового поля досліджуваних характеристик проводиться за допомогою варіаційного алгоритму засвоєння даних вимірювань. Виконані тестові розрахунки ініціалізації океанографічних полів різної природи на основі моделі переносу пасивної домішки в Чорному морі. Проведено засвоєння реальних даних вимірювань концентрації 137Cs в моделі переносу і відновлені фрагменти початкового просторового розподілу ізотопу в досліджуваних акваторіях.
