Summary:On the base of ecological monitoring of northwestern part of the Black Sea (Odessa Region) the influence of peculiarities of hydrological conditions and occurrences on changeability of hydrochemical and hydrobiological characteristics of waters in the defined area are described. It is shown that the penetration of desalinated waters from Dnepro-Bugski leman in summer and littoral windy upwelling in spring and winter induce eutrophication process and development of hypoxia in the near-shore area.
