| description | The review of problem of aquatic organisms exchange in the World Ocean with ballast waters of the ships is done. The preliminary results of Odessa port baseline biological survey on the detection of introduced species within the framework of the International Programme (IMO/GEF/UNDP) «GloBallast» are represented. The method of risk assessment estimation for ballast water discharge in port area is analyzed. Some recommendations on its improvement are based. Some approaches to prognostication of species composition of probable new invaders are considered on example of the north-western part of the Black Sea. |

Зроблений огляд проблеми переселення водних організмів у Світовому океані з баластними водами суден. Уявлені попередні результати базових біологічних досліджень в акваторії Одеського порту в рамках Міжнародної програми (IMO/GEF/UNDP) «ГлоБалласт» по виявленню екзотичних видів. Аналізується метод оцінки ризику інвазій з баластними водами суден у портові акваторії. Обґрунтовуються деякі рекомендації по його вдосконаленню. Обговорюються деякі підходи до прогнозування видового складу вірогідних вселенців на прикладі екосистеми північно-західної частини Чорного моря.
