The data given widen the fact grounds on which known conclusions about positive allometry of the skeleton structures (inner and outer) are based. In connection with this the author’s conception, that positive allometry of skeleton (and other supporting structures) is the main reason of negative metabolic allometry (energy exchange) is more general. |

Для представників дев’яти родів двостулкових молюсків (морських і пресноводних) наведені значення показника степеня в алометричних рівняннях, які зв’язують масу стулки з загальною сирою масою тварини. Усі досліджувані випадки знаходяться у відповідності з позитивною або слабо негативною алометрією, що межує з изометрією. Наведені дані розширюють фактичну основу на якій базується відомий висновок про позитивну алометрію скелетних структур як внутрішніх, так і зовнішніх. У зв’язку з цим більш загального значення набуває і концепція автора про те, що позитивна алометрія скелета (та інших опорних структур) є основною причиною негативної метаболічної алометрії (енергетичного обміну).
