У зв'язку з неповнотою аксіоматично-дедуктивного підходу показано, що у сучасній математиці рівною мірою повинна розвиватися та використовуватися індуктивна математика. При цьому байєсівський підхід виявляється основою побудови оптимальних процедур індуктивного виводу та індуктивної логіки. Обґрунтовано, що байєсівські мережі та ланцюги Маркова утворюють джерело нових важливих прикладних застосувань.
