У статті проаналізовано стан уражених земель за 17 років після Чорнобильської катастрофи, наведено вагомі результати досліджень науковців за цей період, визначено дієві заходи щодо зменшення радіоактивного навантаження на такі землі та окреслено перспективи їх раціонального використання й утримання залежно від ступеня забрудненості і заселення.
