Based on practical studies and irradiation results of more than 600 patients with different tumors localization the program fundamentals for similar research activation and oncological patients therapy set up by means of fast neutron accelerator are formulated. У ретроспективному огляді наведено дані про створення на базі циклотрона У-120 ІЯД НАН України медико-біологічного комплексу, призначеного для дистанційної нейтронної терапії онкологічних хворих та радіобіологічних експериментів. На підставі практичних розробок і результатів опромінювання більш як 600 пацієнтів з різними локалізаціями пухлин сформульовано програмні засади для поновлення подібних досліджень та практичної роботи на пучках прискорювачів.
