The war waged by the RF against Ukraine, along with the unfolding of armed conflicts in other parts of the world, has led to an escalation of global militarization, accompanied by additional greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. This contributes to further climate change and complicates the implementation of the Paris Agreement's commitments to mitigate global warming on the planet. У доповіді зазначено, що дослідження регіональних особливостей змін клімату, зокрема й спричинених веденням воєнних дій в Україні, є важливим науковим, економічним і стратегічним напрямом сьогодення. Війна, розв’язана РФ проти України, а також розгортання збройних конфліктів в інших регіонах світу призвели до посилення глобальної мілітаризації, яка супроводжується додатковими викидами парникових газів в атмосферу. Це сприяє подальшим кліматичним змінам та ускладнює виконання паризьких домовленостей щодо стримування потепління на планеті.
