During this time, the institution repeatedly underwent reforms, experienced rises and trials. The Institute is famous for its developments and in some important areas occupies a leading position not only in Ukrainian, but also in world science. There was a time when the Institute coordinated all research on phytoncides and viral plant diseases in the former USSR. The institution owes its achievements and accomplishments in solving urgent scientific problems to a powerful scientific team, one of the bright leaders of which was Semen M. Moskovets. This article is a mite of gratitude, a memory, and at the same time a eulogy in honor of this outstanding scientist, organizer of science, teacher, glorious son of Ukrainian nation from one of his students and followers. |
