Резюме:The paper presents the last results of CFD simulation of coolant flow mixing in fuel assembly's head. The CFD calculations were performed by VUJE, Inc. mainly for two types of fuel assemblies (FA) operated in present fuel loadings of NPP units in Slovakia (type WER-440) - profiled 3,82 % enriched FA and Gd-Il FA. The coolant outlet temperature pro file in the thermocouple position was calculated for different pin-wise power distributions and FA’s burn-up. The paper describes the first step in application of CFD simulation results on measured power distributions in active core.
