Резюме:This article considers the national requirements for the conditions of operation and reliability, as well as the protection of structures, systems and components at power units of Ukrainian NPPs against internal hazards, in particular, physical and chemical interaction of the coolant with structural materials. The paper reviews recommendations of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) on the water chemistry and management of corrosion and chemical interaction effects on the integrity of structural materials at power units with pressurized water reactors. Compliance of national documents with IAEA recommendations was also analyzed. A technical review of the water chemistry was conducted for the primary and secondary sides and other equipment with water environment of Ukrainian NPP units, taking into account the requirements of operating organization standards. The main physical, chemical and corrosion effects on the NPP primary and secondary structural materials were defined and considered, requirements for chemical composition of the working environment were outlined for the primary and secondary sides, main and auxiliary systems, as well as other chemical substances used at the NPPs, and also control and diagnostic quality indicators were identified for water environments of power unit systems. In addition, the article considers the main trends of changes in the quality indicators for primary and secondary water chemistry management according to periodic safety review reports for power units of Ukrainian NPPs and presents an overview of the main modifications implemented at Ukrainian NPPs over the last five years aimed at improving water chemistry management.
