Nuclear and Radiation Safety| Zusammenfassung: | The main statements of the decommissioning conception and the results of the complex engineering and radiation inspection of the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant units are given. The features of the ChNPP units decommissioning are analyzed. The critical analysis of the current state of works, taken technical measures, decommissioning costs, and the present problems in view of unavailability of the necessary infrastructure for the safety units decommissioning is done. It is shown that during a long period of time the main decommissioning works hasn’t started yet due to absence of the project of works and unavailability of the infrastructure. |
