For these purposes special metrological activation sets and thermal activation sets comprising detectors of pure gold have previously been used. At present such sets are unavailable in Ukraine and there is a problem of measuring thermal neutron flux density in research reactors. The author offers to use detectors made of gold leaf which are as effective as gold ones. |
