Резюме:It is often necessary to measure the thermal neutron flux density to determine the distribution of the flux density along the radius and height of the research reactor core and heat assembly cross-section as well as in irradiating devices. For these purposes special metrological activation sets and thermal activation sets comprising detectors of pure gold have previously been used. At present such sets are unavailable in Ukraine and there is a problem of measuring thermal neutron flux density in research reactors. The author offers to use detectors made of gold leaf which are as effective as gold ones.
