Summary:The spread of neutron fluence onto the WWER‑1000 pressure vessel metal surveillance specimens after the modernization of one-floor container assemblies is estimated. It is shown that the proposed modernization scheme permits equalization of fluence accumulated by surveillance specimens of each assembly. This will enable representative evaluations of WWER-1000 pressure vessel metal state for long-time operation including possible lifetime extension to 60 and more years.
