Резюме:Fuel-containing materials (FCM) located inside Shelter are radiation hazardous materials containing residues of damaged nuclear fuel. Transformation of FCM into controllable condition by their removal from the Shelter is an essential part of Shelter transformation into an ecologically safe system. The current state of the issues related to planning of FCM removal and the strategy developed by the Technocentre International Consortium within the Shelter Implementation Plan (SIP) are analyzed.
