Summary: | The appearance of miniature and at the same time rather powerful electric coolers of different type at the market opens a prospect for development of a wide spectrum of nuclear physical equipment based on HPGe detectors using those electric coolers. The paper presents the review of electric coolers applicable for HPGe detectors cooling, analysis of their advantages and disadvantages to solve specific tasks on developing gamma spectrometric equipment for various applications. The examples of spectrometric devices based on HPGe detectors with electric cooling and their specifications are presented. |
