Резюме:The paper presents a new technique to measure 90Sr in samples with high specific activity based on Kx-radiation. The probability of Kx-radiation during radioactive decay with the release of 90Sr and 90Y electrons was measured. The method to determine 90Sr in fuel-containing materials was proposed according to the data on the probability of atomic ionization in β-decay. 90Sr was measured in fuel fragments of various types. The results were compared and verified with radiochemical data. The proposed method allows 90Sr to be measured with an accuracy of 3-5% in the samples with high specific activity. These results offer new opportunities in the study of radioactive materials produced through nuclear fission.
