The method to determine 90Sr in fuel-containing materials was proposed according to the data on the probability of atomic ionization in β-decay. 90Sr was measured in fuel fragments of various types. The results were compared and verified with radiochemical data. The proposed method allows 90Sr to be measured with an accuracy of 3-5% in the samples with high specific activity. These results offer new opportunities in the study of radioactive materials produced through nuclear fission. Розроблено новий метод вимірювання активності 90Sr в паливовмісних матеріалах без радіохімічного дослідження. Проведено вимірювання активності 90Sr в паливних частинках різного типу. Визначено ймовірність виникнення Кх-випромінення в процесі радіоактивного розпаду з випусканням електронів 90Sr та 90Y. Виконано порівняння з радіохімічними дослідженнями.
