The modern tendencies in implementation of NPP units are taken into account in producing I&Cs.
The main peculiarities of I&Cs are as follows: possibility to construct I&Cs with different majorization schemes; resistance to single and multiple faults due to redundant structures (including redundancies of analog-to-digital converters and actuator control devices); use of diversity principles; minimum cable connections due to use of remote digital controllers for remote control, indication, and alarm in MCR, digital optical data communication.
Combination of I&Cs modernized and designed by RPA “Impulse” assures complete control of a unit with a VVER-type reactor by fulfilling all functions important for NPP safety. |
