It is shown that 135Xe poisoning in such reactors depends on the ratio of the time during which fuel stays inside the core to the time outside the core (t1/t2). Even at ratio t1/t2= 0.1, xenon poisoning effect can be reduced by six times compared to the reactor with fixed fuel, which essentially increases fuel use efficiency. |
