Резюме:Spent ion-exchange resins (IER) as a special type of radioactive waste are characterized. The forms in which contaminants are present in the IER are described. General facts about the mechanism of spent IER ultrasonic decontamination are given and graphical dependences of the effectiveness of ultrasonic decontamination of the spent ion-exchange resins from the IR-100 research reactor on certain parameters of the decontamination process are plotted.
