Резюме:The efficiency and advisability of using jet sprayer coolers in comparison with the regular spray system for steam localization in the containment during a loss-of-coolant accident have been analyzed. The technique of step-by-step calculation using RELAP5 and MELCOR 1.8.5 software is provided. The results of the calculation depending on JSC piping length and cooling solution temperature, which influence the quality of the containment depressurization, are presented.
