Summary: | To develop and improve the analysis of operational events, new approaches should be implemented to enhance the operational feedback. The internationally recognized methodology of precursor analysis is one of such approaches to quantitative assessment of impacts of operational events on safe reactor operation. The paper informs about the establishment and development of the method, describes international and national experience in its use, and considers the implementation of this system to identify potentially hazardous events at Ukrainian NPPs on a systematic basis. |
