Summary:The paper considers the method for effective pressure decrease in the containment of WWER-1000 NPPs in primary-to-secondary leaks through steam condensation jet sprayers-coolers without direct spraying of the coo ling solution into the containment and reactor equipment with controlled removal of the condensate into the sump tank. Results from numerical modeling of pressure decrease processes under the containment are presented.
