These approaches are compared, and the advantage of the integrated approach to solving the issues influencing the safety is demonstrated. The integrated approach gives the possibility to take into account both deterministic and probabilistic aspects of the problem. Представлено основні елементи детерміністичного та імовірнісного підходів дослідження безпеки АЕС з визначенням їх сильних сторін та недоліків. Здійснено порівняння цих підходів та показано переваги інтегрального підходу до вирішення питань, що впливають на безпеку, якій дозволяє комплексно враховувати імовірнісні ті детерміністичні аспекти.
