Since 2002 a set of articles devoted to the experience of the assurance and safety assessment of new information and control systems implemented at Ukrainian NPPs has been published in the magazine "Nuclear and Radiation Safety". Continuing this set, the results of the work of "Radiy" company (Kirovograd, Ukraine) on the creation of the technical equipment complex for fire alarm and control of automatic fire extinguishing equipment (СПС) and the application of СПС during the reconstruction of the operational systems in the accommodations of the power units of№ 1 and №3 of Yuzhnoukrainsk NPP are discussed in this article. Починаючи з 2002 р. журнал «Ядерна та радіаційна безпека» публікує серію статей, присвячених досвіду забезпечення й оцінки безпеки нових інформаційних і керуючих систем, впроваджених на АЕС України. У статті, що продовжує цю серію, розглядаються результати робіт ЗАТ «Радій» (м. Кіровоград) зі створення комплексу технічних засобів пожежної сигналізації та керування апаратурою автоматичного пожежогасіння (СПС) і застосування СПС при реконструкції діючих систем у приміщеннях енергоблоків №№ 1 та 3 Южно-Української АЕС.
