The SSTC NRS expert activities were focused on a comprehensive safety assessment of nuclear installations, spent nuclear fuel and radioactive waste management facilities, Shelter/New Safe Confinement, safety of using radiation sources, transport of nuclear materials, physical protection of nuclear installations, nuclear materials, radioactive waste and radiation sources, as well as scientific and technical support for the oversight function of state regulation (including the inspection activities of the State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine). |
