The significance of further field investigations in Vietnam for study the ecological requirements of orchids species in natural habitats and estimation of the conservation status of the most endangered orchid species in the flora of Vietnam are emphasized. Наведено результати експедиційних досліджень, виконаних у В'єтнамі авторами статті. Головним з них було поповнення фондових колекцій Національного ботанічного саду ім. М.М. Гришка НАН України новими цікавими, з погляду збереження біорізноманіття, видами флори В'єтнаму. Підкреслено значення подальших польових досліджень у В'єтнамі для вивчення екологічних особливостей цих рослин у природних умовах і визначення їх охоронного статусу. M.M.
