Видам роду Amaranthus L. притаманна анемофілія, проте нами зафіксоване активне відвідування медоносною бджолою (Apis mellifera L.) A. paniculatus L., A. caudatus L., A. hypohondriacus L., A. mantegazzianus Passer., інтродукованих в Україні. В обніжжі бджіл та перзі виявлено пилок амаранту, що підтверджує перганосні властивості культивованих видів. M.M.
