The comparative analysis of morphological indications, biological features and peculiarities of ontogenesis of three species of genus Stachys L.: S. macrantha (C. Koch) Steam, S. officinalis (L.) Trevis. and S. byzantina is given. The duration of age states of individuals of three species was determined. Наведено результати вивчення початкових періодів онтогенезу Stachys byzantina С. Koch (S. lanata Jacq.), який інтродуковано в умови північного сходу України. Подано порівняльний аналіз морфологічних ознак, біологічних особливостей та особливостей онтогенезу трьох видів роду Stachys L.: S. macrantha (С. Koch) Steam, S. officinalis (L.) Trevis. та S. byzantina. Визначено тривалість вікових станів особин в усіх трьох видів. M.M.
