Peculiarities or biosynthesis of volatile terpenes in different forms confirm the validity of determining the Dupret and Atlantic cypresses as the areal forms of Cypressus sempervirens L. Even complete correspondence of qualitative composition of essential oils in the maternal tree of C. sempervirens L. and its seed progeny has been found. Вивчено склад монотерпенів і сесквітерпенів у листках форм кипариса вічнозеленого: типової (горизонтальної), Дупре, атлантичної та у рослин типової форми в культурі на Південному березі Криму. Виявлені особовості біосинтезу летких терпенів у різних форм підтверджують справедливість визначення кипарисів Дупре й атлантичного як ареальних форм кипариса вічнозеленого Встановлено повний збіг якісного складу ефірної олії в материнського дерева кипариса вічнозеленого та його насіннєвого потомства.
