Встановлено, що жимолості, інтродуковані у степову зону України, входять у стан глибокого спокою у другій – третій декадах серпня, вегетативна сфера бруньок виходить з нього у жовтні, з настанням осіннього листопаду, в основному одночасно у всіх таксонів, що вивчаються. Генеративна сфера бруньок виходить з цього стану з грудня по лютий, з настанням постійного зниження температури повітря. M.M.
