Відображено загальну картину історії формування та сучасний стан колекційного фонду ботаніко-географічної ділянки “Алтай” у Національному ботанічному саду ім. М.М. Гришка НАН України, його склад, структуру, наукові напрямки досліджень. Розглянуто оптимальний варіант демонстрування колекцій ділянки. На основі аналізу результатів багаторічних спостережень дано оцінку успішності інтродукції рослин Алтаю в умовах Києва. M.M.
