Three species (Populus nigra L., P. bolleana Lauche and P. italica (Du Roi) Moench) are the most widespread at different parks. The part of these species is 61 % of all poplar plantings, 32 % of occurrence fall on P. deltoides Marsh., P. simonii Carr., P. × berolinensis. The oldest (90-year) age plants are noted for P. alba. Many poplar species retain high viability and deco rativeness until 70-year age. У парках м. Кривий Ріг вивчено життєздатність 8 видів і одного гібрида Populus L. Установлено, що представники цього роду трапляються в усіх парках і займають сукупну площу 91,25 га, або 27,3 % від загальної площі 22 парків. Найпоширенішими в різних парках є три види – Populus nigra L., P. bolleana Lauche і P. italica (Du Roi) Moench, частка яких становить 61 % від усіх насаджень тополі, 32 % припадає на частку P. deltoides Marsh., P. simonii Carr. і Populus × berolinensis. Найстаріші (90-річні) рослини відзначено для P. alba L. В оптимальних ґрунтових умовах та належного догляду більшість видів тополь зберігають високу життєздатність і декоративність до 70 років. M.M.
