Samples of C. kentukea growing in DP Sofiyivka of the NAS of Ukraine were chosen as model plants. Two groups of plants were formed: 7 samples of 62–67 years belong to first group, 8 samples of 10–12 years – to second group. Life activity of introduced plants was estimated by P.I. Lapina, S.V. Sidneva method (1973) using acclimatization number of M.A. Kokhno and O.M. Kurdyuk. The rate of acclimatization was determined by M.A. Kokhno formula (1994). Results. The total score of C. kentukea adult individuals conditions had is 96 points, young individuals – 53 points, which indicates that introduction of C. kentukea is prospect. Plants of C. kentukea characterized by annually growth of shoots, the formation of good-quality seeds and self-seeding reproduction, full hardiness and drought resistance in conditions of introduction. Conclusion. Plants of C. kentukea have а wide ecological plasticity. Мета дослідження – оцінити успішність інтродукції Cladrastis kentukea (Dum.-Cours.) Rudd в умовах Правобережного Лісостепу України. Матеріал та методи. Як модельні рослини обрано екземпляри C. kentukea, які зростають у дендропарку “Софіївка” НАН України. Виділено дві групи рослин. До першої віднесено 7 екз. 62–67-річного віку, до другої – 8 екз. 10–12-річного віку. Оцінку життєздатності інтродукованих рослин проведено за методикою П.І. Лапіна та С.В. Сіднєвої (1973), а також з використанням акліматизаційного числа М.А. Кохна та О.М. Курдюка. Швидкість акліматизації визначали за формулою М.А. Кохна (1994). Результати. Для дорослих особин C. kentukea загальна сума балів становила 96 балів, а для молодих – 53 бали, що свідчить про перспективність інтродукції C. kentukea. Рослини C. kentukea характеризуються щорічним приростом пагонів, утворюють доброякісне насіння, розмножуються самосівом, є зимостійкими і посухостійкими в умовах інтродукції. Отримані результати свідчать про повну акліматизацію рослин C. kentukea. Висновок. Рослини C. kentukea мають широку екологічну пластичність. M.M.
