The measures on protection and increasing of old trees vitality is outlined. Показано багатство старовікових дерев дендрологічного парку “Олександрія” НАН України, їх ландшафтостворюючу роль. Висвітлено заходи з індивідуального догляду та лікування старовікових дерев. Проаналізовано досвід відновлення історичних ландшафтних композицій дендропарку “Олександрія”.
