Наведено результати впливу янтарної, винної, оцтової та щавлевої кислот на ростові процеси рослин. Доведено можливість управління ростовими процесами, фізіологічними показниками рослин різних екоморфотипів та рослин з різним типом вуглецевого метаболізму шляхом внесення органічних кислот у 0,001–0,01 % концентрації.
