Проаналізовано умови зростання представників роду Juniperus L. у місцях природного поширення. Наведено перелік видів та різновидностей, потенційно перспективних для інтродукційного випробування в умовах Лісостепу України (21 таксон). 75% перспективних для інтродукції видів та різновидностей, які відсутні в колекціях ботанічних садів та дендропарків цього регіону, походять з Ірано-Туранської флористичної області.
