Експозиція “Географічні та едафічні варіанти степів України” в Донецькому ботанічному саду НАН України репрезентує варіанти петрофільної та псамофільної рослинності південного сходу України. Її видовий склад налічує 208 видів зі 116 родів та 41 родини. Створені фрагменти штучних угруповань досить повно відображують видовий склад, структуру, особливості сезонного розвитку відповідних природних угруповань, їхній характерний вигляд. У штучних рослинних угрупованнях успішно інтродуковано низку рідкісних та ендемічних видів регіону. Створення фітоценотичних експозицій має низку переваг при інтродукції рослин природної флори. M.M.
