Обговорюється стійкість дерев до вібрації ґрунту, спричиненої рухом транспорту. Досліджено згасання вібрації при переході з ґрунту на дерева різних видів, яке слугувало основним критерієм стійкості. Серед досліджених видів дерев найбільшу механічну стійкість до вібрацій мають Pseudotsuga menziesii (Mirbel) Franco, Platanus orientalis L., Magnolia kobus Thunb., Corylus colurna L., Acer ibericum M. Bieb. ex Willd., Juglans nigra L., Larix decidua Mill. Обговорюються чинники, що знижують амплітуду вібрації на дереві. M.M.
