В історичному ракурсі висвітлено наукову діяльність відділу природної флори Національного ботанічного саду ім. М.М. Гришка НАН України. Показано досягнення відділу в галузі інтродукції рослин, фітогеографії та охорони флористичного різноманіття ex situ за 65-річний період його існування. Оцінено науковий доробок видатних вчених ботаніків та молодих дослідників. Охарактеризовано сучасний стан наукових досліджень. M.M.
