The grouping system of Iris pumila L. perianth colouration is considered on the basis of pigment interaction regularity. На матеріалі з природних популяцій Iris pumila L. Миколаївської області вивчено варіабельність забарвлення оцвітини. Спектр мінливості забарвлення – від чисто-білого до темно-фіолетових і синіх тонів. Виявлено рослини з однотонним, двотонним, двоколірним та поліхромним типами забарвлення. Запропоновано систему групування типів забарвлення оцвітини Iris pumila на основі пігментного складу. M.M.
