Its discovered spectrum covers the range of colors from snow white to dark violet and blue, being represented by plants with self, bitone, bicolor, and polychromatic colouration. The grouping system of Iris pumila L. perianth colouration is considered on the basis of pigment interaction regularity. На матеріалі з природних популяцій Iris pumila L. Миколаївської області вивчено варіабельність забарвлення оцвітини. Спектр мінливості забарвлення – від чисто-білого до темно-фіолетових і синіх тонів. Виявлено рослини з однотонним, двотонним, двоколірним та поліхромним типами забарвлення. Запропоновано систему групування типів забарвлення оцвітини Iris pumila на основі пігментного складу. M.M.
