Узагальнено нові дані щодо систематики родини Ericaceae DC. Підкреслено, що спорідненість вересових є вагомим чинником у визначенні шляхів еволюції та перспектив їх інтродукції. Проаналізовано шляхи екологічної і морфологічної еволюції вересових. Зроблено висновок про те, що конституційний консерватизм вересових потребує специфічних умов середовища при їх інтродукції. M.M.
