It is confirmed by long-term experience of introduction of arboreal plants in Carpathians and Western Podol'e. Supposition, that information is coded in the genotype of plants, which is decrypted in stress situations are shown. Проаналізовано генотипічні аспекти адаптації рослин. Показано, що сучасні ареали не відображують потенційні адаптаційні здатності рослин, що підтверджено багаторічним досвідом інтродукції деревних рослин у Карпатах і на Західному Поділлі. Висловлено припущення, що в генотипі рослин закодована інформація, яка реалізується в стресових ситуаціях. M.M.
